Rozalie was born in Poland and immigrated to Israel at the age of eight. At fourteen, she was scouted in New York by a photographer and her modeling career took on. Working with London’s photographer David Hamilton, she was nicknamed “The Body” by Mr. Yves Saint Laurent, and quickly became the first model to pose nude in campaigns. Her body was used for the controversial “Y” picture that launched YSL’s perfume. As a true citizen of the world, Rozalie learnt six languages and lived in Paris, London, New York, Sweden and Germany.
At the age of 22, her handicapped and autistic son was born. After graduating from cosmetic schools in Israel and Sweden, she established her first grooming salon in Hong Kong. In her 30s, she successfully overcame cancer. In her 40s, she divorced and had to rebuild her new salon in Hong Kong.
“My life is an adventure that has stimulated me, and taught me great lessons. Whatever the obstacles to overcome, I am happy, and I find beauty in it. That is why I have a salon: to make people see their beauty and enhance it”.
